Before you write to me, please do search around the site: there’s a chance I’ve already answered someone with a similar problem to yours! Browse the site for answers in letters and in articles — start with the search box, or the categories on the right.

There are two ways you can write to me for advice.
You can send me a message and I’ll try to answer it on the site for yourself and others to read. This is free, but I can’t promise if or when I’ll be able to answer you — I do get a lot of mail! Please keep your message to under 500 words, and don’t shout – i.e. I can’t cope with emails all in capitals!
If you’d like to write to me in private, you can choose between three options. Whichever you choose, I’ll always reply within 72 hours and keep everything strictly confidential.
For a fee of £25.00 I’ll answer your email within 72 hours.
For a fee of £40.00 we can have a dialogue – I’ll answer your initial mail, and ask questions which will further help me help you find a solution. You respond with the further information and questions which I’ll also answer. This is useful if you feel –as so often happens – I need to check things out with you or you need to clarify matters or ask secondary questions.
For a fee of £50.00 we can have a trialogue – three letters from you, three answers from me. This is particularly useful if you feel it might take some discussion to get to the heart of the problem or for you to come back with further comments or queries.
I use PayPal to handle online payments: they’re secure, and you don’t need an account with them to send payment through them. Unless you say otherwise in your letter, I’ll reply to the email address on the PayPal account!
Please keep your question to less than 1000 words, and don’t shout – i.e. I can’t cope with emails all in capitals!
